UH Maui College conducting outreach events
KAHULUI – High school graduating seniors attending the University of Hawaii Maui College in the fall can conveniently register for classes and plan educational and career goals during upcoming outreach events.
The schedule is: May 6-7, Maui High School; May 8, Kamehameha Schools Maui; May 10, King Kekaulike High School; and May 17, Lahainaluna High School.
Those interested in taking advantage of the outreach sessions should already have been accepted to UH Maui College.
For those who have not yet applied, click on “APPLY” at maui.hawaii.edu to submit an online application.
UHMC’s team of counselors, admissions and financial aid staff will be available onsite to help students plan their college journey, which may include consultation on which degree program to take, transfer options to other universities and a financial plan to pay for college.
Current UHMC student ambassadors, called Peer Navigators, will also be present to provide support to soon-to-be UHMC freshmen and help answer questions about college.
Accepted seniors from high schools not listed here may still register for summer and fall classes by making an appointment directly with a UH Maui College academic counselor at (808) 984-3306.
