With the demise of the sugar industry on Maui, Tiare Lawrence will share information about the Community Farm Plan designed by Mahi Pono.

KAANAPALI – Tiare Lawrence will be the speaker at the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset on Tuesday, April 16, at the Royal Ocean Terrace Restaurant at the Royal Lahaina Resort from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Lawrence recently took over as community relations director at Mahi Pono.

Lawrence will speak about “Community Resilience.

Community Resilience is a measure of the sustained ability of a community to utilize available resources to respond to, withstand and recover from adverse situations.
