‘Lift Every Voice and Sing!’ Workshop set

Instructor Jennifer Loftus has a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Music Education from Michigan State University with an emphasis in voice.
LAHAINA – Do you come to church and raise your voice in song when it’s time to sing the hymns? Or do you hold back because you don’t consider yourself a singer?
When the congregation joins voices together in worship, spirit and strength are renewed.
Your participation is invited at Holy Innocents Episcopal Church at 561 Front St. on Saturday, Feb. 23, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. for this amazing opportunity.
The fee of $25 will be collected at the door, with a portion of the proceeds going to Holy Innocents for its continued ministry on the West Side.
The group will be exploring some techniques to free and cultivate their voices and learn some very basic music reading skills to be able to “decode” the written music in the hymnal.
Come and join in this community-wide workshop presented by Jennifer Loftus.

Loftus will help all explore and learn new ways to raise voices to create a powerful worship and celebration through the singing of hymns and songs.
Singing raises good vibrations, increases endorphins and promotes wellness! And when we are well, we can fully step into the things we are called to do on our path.
All voices are welcome!
