Blood drive slated
WAILUKU – October is the perfect month for vampires, and Blood Bank of Hawaii is ready to quench the need of Hawaii’s patients.
Give blood on Oct. 15 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the King Kekaulike High School Gym, Oct. 16 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Kamehameha Schools-Maui Campus Gym, Oct. 17-18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Cameron Center Auditorium and Oct. 19 from 7 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. in the Cameron Center Auditorium.

The general requirements to be a blood donor are simple: be in good health, 18 years of age or older (16- and 17-year-old donors permitted with signed Blood Bank of Hawaii parent/legal guardian consent), weigh 110 pounds or more (additional height/weight requirements apply for female donors 16-18 years old), and bring photo ID with date of birth.
