LAHAINA – Frank DeRego will be the speaker at the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset on Tuesday, Sept. 4, at the Royal Ocean Terrace Restaurant at Royal Lahaina Resort.

The meeting time is from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

DeRego is the director of business development projects for Maui Economic Development Board (MEDB).

The MEDB team works with an extensive network of public, private and nonprofit partners to build homegrown solutions to countywide problems.

Priority is given to honoring our community’s environmental and cultural values as the organization seeks to transform education, prepare a workforce for the Information Age and build community dialogue and consensus about the future.

DeRego will share the goals of the organization and the numerous partnerships and programs that the organization oversees.
