Lahainaluna High School sets dates for students to pay fees
LAHAINA – Lahainaluna High School has scheduled dates for students to pay school fees and Student Government/class dues, take photos for school IDs and pick up class schedules in Hale Pa’ina.
Incoming freshmen in the Class of 2022 will report on Wednesday, July 25, from 9 to 11 a.m., followed by sophomores (Class of 2021) from 1 to 3 p.m.
Incoming juniors in the Class of 2020 are scheduled for Thursday, July 26, from 9 to 11 a.m., followed by seniors (Class of 2019) from 1 to 3 p.m.
Boarders may choose to pay school fees at Boarder Orientation on Aug. 5 at 2 p.m.
School photo ID pictures are taken in the summer. Students are reminded to dress appropriately – no hats, sunglasses or strapless tops (tube, pareau, etc.). Tank tops are not recommended. Watch summer tan lines.
Mandatory dues for the Classes of 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 are $25 – $10 for class dues, $10 for Student Government dues (includes photo ID and handbook/planner), and $5 for quarterly mailings. The $5 Graduation Fee applies only to the Class of 2019.
Optional fees for all grades?include the $25 MIL Athletic Pass (required of all athletes and boarders), which includes admission to LHS sporting events, and $50 for the Ka Lama 2019 Yearbook (no personal checks accepted; only cash, bank/cashier checks or money orders for the exact amount are acceptable).
Seniors, make sure to have an appointment scheduled with Nagamine Photo for your senior yearbook portrait. Call 244-3636 ASAP – all photos must be done before Aug. 1.
Teachers will report for their first day on July 31.
“Kokua Krew” Workshops are tentatively scheduled for Aug. 2-3.
Freshman Orientation is set for Aug. 6-7 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Hale Pa’ina. New Transfer Orientation will be held Aug. 7 from 10 a.m. to noon in Hale Pa’ina.
The first full day of classes for all grades is Aug. 8 (report by 7:45 a.m.).
The Opening Year Assembly is tentatively slated for Aug. 15.
