Yaeno Okada, 96

Yaeno Okada, 96, of Lahaina passed away on Dec. 2, 2015 at her residence under the care of her loving caregivers, Mele Tuakalau, Ena Saafi and Hospice Maui. She was born on July 15, 1919 in Lahaina. She retired from the Sheraton Maui Hotel as a housekeeper.

Private family services were held.

Yaeno is predeceased by husband Yoshito “Toto” Okada and daughter Jane Otsu. She is survived by her children, Roy Okada, Suzanne (Glenn) Hara, and Penny (Edwin) Okubo; son in-law, Walter Otsu; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
