Native Hawaiian Hospitality Association to continue branding efforts in Lahaina
LAHAINA – The Native Hawaiian Hospitality Association (NaHHA) is returning to Lahaina this month to continue branding education for area small businesses.
The nonprofit will have an information table at Lahaina’s Second Friday Town Party on June 12 and provide more information about the “One Idea Campaign” designed by NaHHA and the state Department of Labor and Industrial Relations (DLIR) to help small businesses statewide increase the number of visitors to their specific community.
NaHHA held its first workshop in March at the Best Western Pioneer Inn. Small business owners attended a free workshop and brainstorming session to come up with a branding slogan for Lahaina.
The nonprofit partnered with Lahaina Restoration Foundation to spread the word to small businesses in the area to attend the workshop.
The objective of NaHHa’s return visit is to gain feedback from those same businesses while recruiting others to participate in the branding campaign for Lahaina.
The organization will also present final ideas for Lahaina’s branding slogan.
