LHS students to hold plant sale
LAHAINA – The Lahainaluna High School Agriculture & FFA (Future Farmers of America) Program Plant Sale will be held on Saturday, May 9, from 8 a.m. to noon in the Lahaina Cannery Mall parking lot.
Shop for plumeria, ti, red ginger, lilikoi, desert rose, papaya and many other tropical plants.
Keith Ideoka, an alumni of Lahainaluna’s Agriculture and FFA Programs and the current agriculture teacher and FFA advisor, is organizing this benefit.
Proceeds will help to cover costs for students to travel to Oahu for state FFA competitions, to purchase garden tools and supplies, and to provide for scholarships for graduating Lahainaluna High School seniors who have excelled in the Agriculture and FFA programs.
