Judges needed for LHS senior projects
LAHAINA – Lahainaluna High School will host its annual Senior Project Day on Friday, Feb. 13, 2015. This activity has all of Lahainaluna’s seniors doing a project on a topic of interest to them.
Topics range from teaching, to art, to food preparation, to criminal justice and many others. As part of their presentation, the seniors will be graded by a panel that includes teachers, administrators, students and community members.
The school needs more community members to sit on the panels. Responsibilities would include listening and watching various students present their slide shows, asking questions of the students about their projects and judging how well each student performed. This is a volunteer activity. The deadline for volunteers to sign up is Dec. 15; call Rudy Reed at 662-4000. Parking is available, and snacks will be served.
