Maui Friends of the Library to hold used book sale
KAHULUI – Maui Friends of the Library will hold a used book sale on Saturday, Aug. 16, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. outside Whole Foods at Maui Mall.
Back to school for the kids? Time to catch up on your own reading! Treat yourself for just a couple bucks! Shop for a large variety of donated fiction and nonfiction books at bargain prices. All proceeds benefit Maui’s public libraries.
Each keiki at the sale may select one free children’s book from the designated selection.
Every day, Maui Friends of the Library sells used books, DVDs, CDs, and new Hawaiiana items at its book stores at Queen Kaahumanu Center in Kahului, Wharf Cinema Center in Lahaina and Puunene.
MFOL is an all-volunteer organization that supports the public libraries of Maui County with funding for programs, library materials and equipment.
