Marvin Tevaga and Friends to perform

By Staff | Jul 19, 2012

LAHAINA – Great live Hawaiian music continues on Front Street, as the Hawaiian Music Series features Lahaina’s own Marvin Tevaga and Friends on Thursday, July 26, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Baldwin Home lawn in Lahaina.

As part of the next generation of Hawaii performers, Tevaga branches from tradition by creating a distinctive island style in various genres of music. He was fortunate to have been mentored by some of Hawaii’s top recording artists, and he hopes to inspire the passion for music in Hawaii’s youth in the same way.

During the nighttime performance, the lawn will also be adorned with Polynesian artisans and a mini farmers’ market with specially hand-crafted items and fresh fruits and vegetables.

Relax under the stars and enjoy the free concert brought to you by Lahaina Restoration Foundation. The combination of live Hawaiian music, award-winning restaurants and vibrant shops create a great setting for a perfect evening out on the town.

Chairs are limited; blankets, mats and low beach chairs are welcome. The Baldwin Home Museum is located in the heart of Lahaina on the corner of Front and Dickenson streets. Call 661-3262.
