In honor of Venus, the Roman goddess of love, the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa hosted a free group vow renewal ceremony on June 5. Dozens of couples recommitted to each other during the last Venus transit until 2117. The sunset ceremony overlooking Kaanapali Beach was officiated by a kahu and included the exchange of fresh flower lei, followed by a champagne toast.
