Mother’s Day concert to benefit Women Helping Women
KIHEI – Play it Forward Concerts and Stella Blues Cafe will present their second annual Mother’s Day concert on Sunday, May 13, at 6:30 p.m. to increase awareness and raise money for Women Helping Women.
The Maui-based organization provides emergency shelter and programs for victims of domestic violence. Its mission is to end domestic violence through advocacy, education and prevention, and to offer safety, support and empowerment to women and children who are victims of domestic violence.
Renowned singer and voice teacher Joy Fields will serve as musical director for the concert, which will feature some of Maui’s top vocalists: Nara Boone, Danielle Delaunay, Lily Meola, Sebrina Barron, Margie Heart, Miranda Ellis, Christina Nelson and Emma Rich.
