Kaiser Permanente to sponsor ‘Drug Take-Back Days’

LAHAINA – Kaiser Permanente Hawaii, in partnership with the state Narcotics Enforcement Division and Attorney General’s Office, is offering “Drug Take-Back Days” on Maui.

These events offer the community the opportunity to properly dispose of medications that are either expired or not being used in an effort to prevent prescription drug abuse or improper disposal.

The schedule is: Monday, April 23, from 9 a.m. to noon at Kaiser Permanente’s Lahaina Clinic; April 23 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Wailuku Clinic; Tuesday, April 24, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Kihei Clinic; and April 24 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Maui Lani Clinic. For more information, call (808) 432-5549.
