By Staff | Apr 5, 2012

LAHAINA – Holy Week 2012 will be a busy one at Lahaina’s Holy Innocents Church on Front Street.

On Maundy Thursday, April 5, a special 6 p.m. foot-washing service will be followed by stripping of the altar.

On Good Friday, April 6, services will be held at 8 a.m. and noon, plus a special 6 p.m. Ecumenical service to include members of Lahaina United Methodist Church and Waiola Church.

Easter Sunday, April 8, will be celebrated by rector Father William Albinger with Festal Holy Communion services at 8 and 10 a.m. Both services will be highlighted by music from the Easter Choir and special hula performances led by Luana Kama. An Easter egg hunt and coffee hour on the oceanfront rectory lawn will follow the 10 a.m. service.
