Krumpe

LAHAINA – Ken Krumpe of Kula is an expert on the practical applications of India’s Vedic literature and Vedic sciences.

On Sunday, March 4, from 2 to 5 p.m., he will lecture, with demonstrations, on three of these sciences: Ayurveda (the science of life and health), Jyotish (Vedic astrology) and Sthapatya Veda (architecture in tune with nature) at the Maui Friends of the Library Bookstore at The Wharf Cinema Center.

The value of the Vedic sciences for improving people’s everyday lives has been a passion for Krumpe for over 30 years, ever since a teacher introduced him to the literature in India in 1980.

The suggested donation for the event is $10. Space is limited; call Kathy Corcoran at 661-1852 to register.
