LAHAINA – The county Department of Parks and Recreation closed the southern end of the Wahikuli Beach Park parking lot this week due to a marine salvage operation.
Salvage workers from Cates International are using the parking lot and the nearby area to extract and pile debris from a boat fire last week Tuesday.
Salvage operations are expected to end on Friday.
