Learn how to make your dreams come true
LAHAINA – The University of Hawaii Maui College’s Lahaina Education Center will offer a three-part personal enrichment course called “Turn Your Dreams into Reality” on Tuesday evenings.
In the class – starting on Jan. 24 and running through Feb. 7 from 6 to 8 p.m. – attendees will begin with an activity to determine whether they tend to use one side of the brain more than the other (logic vs. creativity).
The group will then brainstorm all their dreams and goals, evaluate their importance and then develop a step-by-step plan for achieving them.
During the final evening, each participant will create his or her own unique “Vision Board,” a collage of images, words and other cues that will speak to the creative subconscious in a fun and interesting way.
The cost for the three-evening class is $69. To register, call UHMC’s Edventure (formerly VITEC) at 984-3231.
Marti Wukelic will be the course facilitator. In addition to directing the Lahaina Education Center, Wukelic also teaches job interviewing skills to Lahainaluna High School students in the fall and teaches business and management college courses each spring.
You can currently find her on Oceanic Channel 55/355 on Mondays and Wednesdays teaching “Marketing 160: Advertising and Promotion.”
The class will be held at the Lahaina Education Center near the Front Street Apartments at 60 Kenui St., one block south of Lahaina Cannery Mall.
