U.H. to present proposed tuition schedule Friday
KAHULUI — The University of Hawaii will present its proposed tuition schedule for fall 2012 through spring 2017 to the community at open public meetings statewide.
The meetings will explain the rationale for the tuition proposal, what increases would be used for and elicit feedback from the public.
Students, the university community and the public are invited to present testimony on the university’s proposed tuition schedule on Friday, Oct. 7, at 3 p.m. at University of Hawaii Maui College, Ka’a’ike 105. The meeting will also be broadcast via Skybridge to the Hana, Molokai and Lahaina Education Centers.
The final recommendation on the proposed tuition increase will be presented to the U.H. Board of Regents for action at a meeting in mid-fall. Visit www.hawaii.edu/offices/app/tuition/ for information.
