LAHAINA — The Rotary Club of Lahaina recently moved its weekly luncheon meetings from Outback Steakhouse to the Royal Lahaina Resort’s Royal Ocean Terrace overlooking the ocean.

The club meets every Thursday from noon to 1 p.m.

“We are delighted to be returning to our longtime meeting place at the Royal Lahaina Resort,” said Eric van Ketel, club president.

He explained that the move coincided with Outback changing its hours to evenings only.

“We are very grateful for the hospitality we received at Outback. This change, however, feels like we are coming home, since the club met for many years at the Royal Lahaina Resort,” he added.

Everyone is welcome at Rotary Club meetings, including visiting Rotarians and those in the community who are interested in learning more about the club or in hearing a scheduled speaker.
