WAIKAPU — The Maui County Veterans Council will hold a Mahalo Luncheon for U.S. Sen. Daniel K. Akaka on Friday, Aug. 26, at Maui Tropical Plantation.

Tickets are only $5 each.

According to the organization, “Senator Akaka was the chair of the Veterans Committee of the U.S. Senate and was a great help to the Vets in general and the Maui Vets in particular. Please come and help us celebrate.”
