Group to celebrate Wild Dolphin Days

MAALAEA — Wild Dolphin Days, Pacific Whale Foundation’s annual event celebrating the wild dolphins of Maui County, will be held on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 13-14.

The weekend will include a free Wild Dolphin Sand Sculpture Contest on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at the north end of Keawakapu Beach by Sarento’s Restaurant, free talk about dolphin research on Saturday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at PWF’s Discovery Center at the Maalaea Harbor Shops, and a special Wild Dolphin Photo Safari Cruise from Lahaina Harbor on Sunday from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m.
