By Staff | Apr 14, 2011

SPRECKELSVILLE — The state Department of Transportation (DOT) invites the general public and all interested parties to a public information meeting regarding the Kahului Airport Master Plan Update and Noise Compatibility Program.

The meeting will be held at Kaunoa Senior Center, 401 Alakapa Place, on Tuesday, April 19, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

This is the second of three Maui meetings to provide information and solicit public input.

“These meetings are vital opportunities for the public to help guide the future development of Kahului Airport,” said Glenn Okimoto, Hawaii DOT director. “Public input is crucial in developing a long-term plan that will successfully continue to meet the needs of the community.”
