LAHAINA — “Powerful Tools for Caregivers” will be offered at the West Maui Senior Center.

Slated for Wednesdays from 9 to 10:30 a.m. from March 30 to May 4, this program helps family caregivers reduce stress, improve self-confidence, communicate feelings better, balance their lives, increase their ability to make tough decisions and locate helpful resources.

Classes will be led by Cary Valdez from Maui County Office on Aging and Heather Greenwood from University of Hawaii Cooperative Extension.

Cost is $10; scholarships are available. Class size is limited and preregistration is required. Contact Greenwood at 244-3242, extension 226.
