MAALAEA — Pacific Whale Foundation’s Making Waves Lecture Series continues with “On the Trail of the Whale in Australia” on Thursday, March 17.

During 2009 and 2010, researchers Annie Macie and Amanda Hutsel spent more than six months on an extensive study of humpbacks along eastern Australia.

Join them for an evening of slides, videos and stories from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Pacific Whale Foundation’s Discovery Center in Maalaea near Maui Ocean Center. Admission is free.
