Lahainaluna to hold mandatory meetings for seniors’ parents and guardians

LAHAINA — Lahainaluna High School will conduct two informational meetings for parents and guardians of students who will be graduating with the Class of 2011.

Attendance at ONE of the two scheduled meetings is MANDATORY for participation in Commencement Exercises on May 22, 2011.

The first meeting will be held on Sunday, Feb. 20, at 3 p.m., and the second meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 23, at 6 p.m.

Both meetings will be held at the Kamakau Library on the Lahainaluna High School campus. Topics to be covered will include academic requirements for graduation, additional requirements to earn a Board of Education Recognition Diploma, the required Senior Contract, and Commencement Ceremony procedures.
