LAHAINA — Within the context of its mission, Lahaina Restoration Foundation has proudly awarded numerous scholarships to Lahainaluna High School seniors and alumni for over ten years.

This year, through the generous contribution of an anonymous donor, LRF will be awarding a total $30,000 in increments of $2,000 to ten graduating seniors and five alumni.

Interested seniors and alumni of Lahainaluna must write an essay on topics relating to the importance and challenges of preservation of West Maui’s culture and history and meet all requirements in order to qualify.

Students may obtain applications from Lahainaluna Financial Aid Counselor Kristi Arakawa or via www.lahainarestoration.org. Applications must be returned no later than March 10, 2011 to the Lahaina Restoration Foundation office located at 120
