WAIKAPU — The county Department of Parks and Recreation announced that a public hearing on proposed administrative rules on dog parks will be held Thursday, Nov. 18, at 11 a.m. at Waikapu Community Center.

The public is invited to attend and provide oral or written testimony on the proposed rules.

The proposed rules would regulate dog parks to ensure safe and satisfying recreational opportunities for Maui County residents and visitors — and their dogs.
