‘Join Hands’ fair slated at Lahaina Cannery Mall

Lahaina Arts Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, will host a benefit for its Children’s Art Outreach Program under the Banyan Tree this weekend. A silent art auction and arts and crafts fair starts at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13. At 3 p.m. sharp, all bidding will be closed. At that time, there will be a flurry of giveaways from Maui’s generous restaurants and vendors. On Sunday, Nov. 14, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Lahaina Arts Society will celebrate its 43rd anniversary. This event will help support LAS’ free art classes for Maui keiki. Come down to the Banyan Tree and enjoy some cake! Both days, there will be free face painting and hands-on art for children, as well as music by Chapman Stick guru Michael Kollwitz.
