LAHAINA — The staff at the West Maui Boys and Girls Club would like to thank our outstanding volunteer, Manny Guzman.    

For the last ten years, Guzman has volunteered his time every Wednesday during after school hours to teach the Boys and Girls Club West Maui members how to play chess.

Over the summer recess, he ran a chess tournament. The top three members who played and won the most chess games earned prizes.

The club also thanked Maui Toy Works at Lahaina Cannery Mall for donating a kite, as well as Paul Laub and Bobby Bill at Recycled Bikes and Boards at The Wharf Cinema Center for the bicycle.
