KAHULUI — The sixth annual International Surfing Day will be celebrated on Sunday, June 20, with a beach cleanup and free concert at Hoaloha Park at Kahului Harbor.

    All are welcome at the event coordinated by the Surfrider Foundation-Maui Chapter.

    The beach cleanup with challenges and prizes will be held from 9 a.m. to noon. 

    From noon to 4 p.m., there will be information booths, food and live music by One Unity, Barefoot Minded and special guests.

    Refreshments will be provided by Starbucks and Flatbread Co. Bring a reusable water bottle for water provided by The Water Boy.

    Prizes and giveaways will be provided by Matix, DVS, Volcom, Quiksilver, Vans, Rip Curl, Reef, Electric, Sector 9, O’Neill, Ocean Minded, SPY and Globe.
