WAILUKU — Someone you know is struggling with hunger! The Maui Food Bank and Maui Disposal have joined together to help the hungry in Maui County.

Through the new “Give a HI-5 to Help the Hungry” program, Maui residents and visitors are invited to start dropping off their HI-5 beverage containers at any Maui Disposal Recycling Center. Just tell the staff you want to help the hungry on Maui.

Maui Disposal will donate the redemption fees to the Maui Food Bank. All proceeds from “Give a HI-5 to Help the Hungry” will be used to purchase fresh produce from local farmers to help Maui’s growing number of people at risk of going hungry.
