Help Maui Humane Society find homes for 60 or more dogs this month.

PUUNENE — October is Adopt-a-Dog month, and Maui Humane Society has been working hard to reach its goal to find loving homes for 60 dogs in transition. 

So far they have adopted 47 dogs, and with your help, they can make or break their goal. 

Much like the “hobo” of years gone by, the many dogs that come through the shelter are in transition… ultimately, they are home bound. 

Each adoption during the month of October comes with spay/neuter surgery, vaccination, worming, Frontline and heartworm treatment. 

Each dog also takes home his or her own bindle of doggie goodies and toys. Go to www.mauihumanesociety.org to see the adoptable dogs, or come down to the shelter for a one-on-one visit.
