KAHULUI — The public is invited to a Surfrider Foundation Maui Chapter meeting from 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 15, at the upstairs conference room of Hawaiian Canoe Club on Kaahumanu Avenue next to First Hawaiian Bank.

The agenda includes the Nov. 12 election meeting and Nov. 14 Surfrider Statewide Conference. All members and prospective members are encouraged to attend.

A social hour with a surf video will follow. The meeting is free and open to the public.

The Surfrider Foundation is an international, environmental nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the world’s oceans, waves and beaches.
