LAHAINA — Tenth District Rep. Angus McKelvey (D) and his supporters will kickoff his 2010 reelection campaign with an evening of food, fun and fellowship in Lahaina on Thursday, Oct. 15. 

“I am humble for all the support we have received, and even though it has been a challenging year for all of us, through continued hard work and perseverance, we can continue to carry on the momentum in fighting for key issues affecting West Maui and secure even more funding so that 2010 can be a better year for all of us in West Maui and the State of Hawaii,” McKelvey said.

The event will be held at Fu Lin Chinese Restaurant at 1312 Front St. in Lahaina from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

There is a $25 suggested donation for the event, which will feature gourmet Chinese food, entertainment and free parking.
