LAHAINA — Maui Adult Day Care Centers will present a free caregiver workshop called “Understanding Dementia” on Wednesday, June 17, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the West Maui Senior Center, 788 Pauoa St.

Guest speakers Kathleen Couch and Elaine Slavinsky will address diagnosing dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease; early, middle and late stage dementia behaviors; caregiver survival skills, tips and techniques; and brain health activities.
