WAILUKU — Maui Economic Opportunity Inc.’s Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) will qualify eligible residents and provide credits toward gas and electrical bills in June.  

The one-time credits are available for low-income households with incomes and assets below 150 percent of the federal poverty level. This federally funded program helps eligible low-income homeowners and renters meet electrical or gas bill obligations.
