T S Restaurants offers Thanksgiving takeout meals in support of Hawaii Foodbank
WEST MAUI — Those who dine in or order takeout at any of T S Restaurants’ eight Hawaii locations this Thanksgiving will have the opportunity to make a donation to Hawaii Foodbank. Through T S Restaurants’ Legacy of Aloha Foundation, the company will match donations up to $5,000 per restaurant location.
Take-out Thanksgiving meals for one or four can be pre-ordered from Nov. 15 to 22, 2021, and picked up hot on Thanksgiving Day. Meals include roasted turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes or yams, vegetables, cranberry sauce and house made gravy. Sides come with the meal, but may also be purchased a la carte.
The Thanksgiving meals are priced at $36 for one and $134 for four. Starting Nov. 15, click “Order Takeout” on each restaurant’s website to order and schedule your pickup for Thanksgiving Day as well as to add a donation to Hawaii Foodbank. The restaurants are: Duke’s (Kauai, Maui, Waikiki), Hula Grill (Kaanapali, Waikiki), Keoki’s (Poipu Beach), Kimo’s (Lahaina) and Leilani’s (Kaanapali).
Each restaurant will also offer Thanksgiving meals and regular menus for dine-in customers. Reservations are required.
Hunger in Hawaii is at its highest levels in almost a century. Currently, one in four children are at risk of going hungry in Hawaii, and the state has the second-highest rate of food insecurity among children in the country. In addition, the number of individuals served by Hawaii Foodbank remains more than 60 percent higher than before the pandemic.
All funds raised will stay on each island and will be used to support the island food banks’ various initiatives to keep their communities from going hungry.
