KIHEI — Help support Maui Food Bank’s mission to end hunger on Maui by donating to Azeka Shopping Center’s Thanksgiving Food Drive now underway through Nov. 20.

Participating stores and restaurants will have bins inside to accept all canned and dry goods.

These locations include ACE Hardware Kihei, Azeka Management Office, Diamonds Ice Bar & Grill, Island Art Party, Fork & Salad and WowWow Hawaiian Lemonade.

All of the donation drive’s proceeds will go to the Maui Food Bank.

Economic challenges have continued in the community. According to the Maui Food Bank, 27,000 local Maui residents don’t know where their next meal is coming from.

Azeka Shopping Center encourages people to donate what they can while shopping in Kihei.

Urgently needed items include canned meats, canned fruits and vegetables, and rice and pasta.

Cash donations and gift cards are also accepted at the Azeka Management Office located at Azeka Makai.
