Maui SCORE to hold Open House

By Staff | Jan 9, 2020

KAHULUI – For over 50 years, SCORE has served as America’s premier source of free business mentoring and education.

The Maui SCORE Chapter will be hosting two Open House events on Thursday, Jan. 16.

The goal is to introduce mentoring services to community partners and to the Maui community.

The Community Partners social runs from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., and the Small Business Open House will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Both events will be held at the Maui County Business Resource Center at Maui Mall Suite B-9, across from IHOP.

Anna Ribucan, president of the Maui SCORE Chapter, will be hosting the events along with her fellow SCORE Mentors.

She said, “We hope to connect with the leadership of our community partners and learn how we can assist them in meeting their goals for 2020.”

For the Small Business Open House, “We want small business owners and those thinking about starting a business to come and meet the team and learn about the many resources available to new and established businesses here on Maui,” Ribucan explained.

To register for the events, go to maui.score.org/event/score-open-house.

SCORE is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping small businesses get off the ground, grow and achieve their goals through education and mentorship.

A mentor is available most Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome.
