Duffy’s Vehicle Inspection Station is conveniently located in the shadow of the old Pioneer Mill Smokestack on the mauka side of the Papalaua Street and Honoapiilani Highway intersection.

LAHAINA – Is your vehicle due for an inspection? Duffy’s Official Vehicle Inspection Station #1991 is now open at 256-A Papalaua St. in Lahaina.

Open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays, excluding major holidays, Duffy’s Vehicle Inspection Station will inspect your car, truck or trailer up to 10,000 pounds.

Inspections are given in the order of arrival or by appointment.

Appointments can be made by calling (808) 661-3031.

“Vehicles with an appointment will be given priority, but if we’re not busy, you’re next,” said Len Storey, who works with Roger Salmon.

Duffy’s is named after Len’s business partner, Duffy Jolley, who has since moved back to the Mainland for health reasons.

“It was Duffy’s dream, so we wanted to keep his name on it,” said Storey.
