LAHAINA – Lahaina Arts Society has been selected for the 2019 Best of Lahaina Award in the Art Gallery category by the Lahaina Award Program.

Each year, the Lahaina Award Program identifies companies that have achieved exceptional success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.

Lahaina Arts Society Executive Director Bill Smith stated, “This is a wonderful honor. For 52 years, Lahaina Arts Society has given back to the community and the artists it serves, and our artists continue to educate Maui County keiki through our Lahaina Arts Guild charity. To be recognized for the hard work of our team in this manner, in this venue, in a town known for art, we are most grateful.

“Congratulations to our industrious and creative gallery director, Kirk Boes, and our entire gallery staff, and, of course, to our expressive and dedicated members who create unique art through 17 different mediums.”
