Kitchen installation at Waikiki Brewing Company at Outlets of Maui briefly closed Front Street on Saturday, Sept. 7.

LAHAINA – Outlets of Maui announced last week that construction on Waikiki Brewing Company, the center’s recently announced new food and beverage venue, continues to progress.

During late night hours, via the assistance of a crane, workers delivered a large trailer containing Waikiki Brewing Company’s complete kitchen into the restaurant site for installation. Its delivery represents Maui’s first pre-fabricated container installation.

Expected to open later this fall, Waikiki Brewing Company, a nearly 4,000-square-foot oceanfront venue, will offer a signature, handmade craft beer selection ranging from crisp blondes to robust porters, plus seasonal and limited release varieties; full brunch and lunch/dinner menus; and special events such as brewery tours and “Meet the Brewer” get-togethers
