KAANAPALI – Pete Scheider from Maui Brewing Company will be the speaker at the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset on Tuesday, Sept. 3.

The meeting will be held at the Royal Ocean Terrace Restaurant at the Royal Lahaina Resort. The meeting time is from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Founded in 2005, Maui Brewing is a fiercely local company that has remained steadfast regarding local production.

National Sales Manager Scheider will share the history and background of Hawaii’s largest craft brewery and its growth into other beverage extensions.

These include Kupu Spirits, ready-to-enjoy craft cocktails, and Island Soda, the company’s natural handcrafted sodas that operate with a mission aligned to the same independent values and commitment to craft.

Scheider will also discuss the company’s sustainability efforts, including its goal to be 100 percent grid independent, by the end of September.
