Kapalua Golf donates Fourth of July proceeds to PGA HOPE Program
KAPALUA – The “Fireworks, Fairways, and Freedom” program crafted by Kapalua Golf Courses (Troon Golf) was held over Fourth of July weekend to raise funds for the charitable foundation PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere).
Kapalua Golf donated $5 off all tee times and greens fees to the PGA HOPE fund. In addition, a contest was held on the second hole in which participating golfers could donate $10 for a chance to win a discount merchandise card to use at the Bay Course Golf Shop.
The total amount raised for the PGA HOPE Program was $1,875.
PGA HOPE is the flagship military program of PGA REACH, the 501(c)(3) charitable foundation of the PGA of America.
PGA HOPE is a free therapeutic adaptive golf program that is open to all military veterans from all combat theaters, with an emphasis on serving those with physical and emotional disabilities.
