Trilogy Excursions announces new Ocean Adventure Camp
LAHAINA – Trilogy Excursions last week announced its newest activity upgrade this summer. Trilogy’s Ocean Adventure Camp offers children ages six through 12 a full day of exploration, discovery, marine biology, culture, conservation and fun.
Available through August, Trilogy’s Ocean Adventure Camp will be offered exclusively on the Discover Lanai Excursion. Trilogy’s keiki (child) campers will be led by a certified “ocean naturalist,” with curriculum presented in an age-appropriate way, aimed to encourage kids to become ocean ambassadors. Campers will experience hands-on learning and exploration with topics including Hawaiian culture, sailing, boat terminology, marine life and conservation and sustainability efforts.
Operations Manager Dani Kleinhenz participated in Trilogy’s first Ocean Adventure Camp at the age of seven, over two decades ago, and considers that experience to be the catalyst for her career in the marine biology field.
“As a mom and marine science nerd, I am thrilled to have this camp experience back at Trilogy,” she said. “For families with young children, this program offers a safe learning environment that is hands-on, educational and fun while operating in tandem with our Discover Lanai tour.”
All Trilogy camp counselors are CPR and First-Aid Certified, and parents can check in on their kids at any time during the day. Ocean Adventure campers will receive a complimentary UV/SPF rash guard, a durable drawstring backpack, coloring workbook, reef-safe sunscreen, a kid- friendly lunch and more. Ocean Adventure Camp space is limited, and those interested are encouraged to book now.
