Restore at Habitat for Humanity Maui is open

By Staff | Jun 6, 2019

Coconut Condos recently donated its annual check to Habitat for Humanity Maui for $3,139. Ten Habitat homes are going up in Lahaina right behind Coconut Condos’ office. “We see the construction every day from our office, and several of our team members were able to participate in the Habitat Build-A-Thon and help construct those homes,” noted Coconut Condos CEO Angela Leone (right). Also pictured, from left, are Milam Pender, Max Tornai of Habitat, Caitlin Mishler, April Ludwick, Valerie Giacomini, Steve Leone and Mark Haley.

WAILUKU – Habitat for Humanity Maui’s ReStore is open for business at a new location: 1162 Lower Main St. in Wailuku.

The ReStore is in a larger space filled with new and slightly used furniture, construction and remodeling materials. It has tons of items and lots of parking.

The ReStore is open for sales Tuesday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Private individuals, businesses and contractors are encouraged to donate their leftover residential building materials and overstocked, discontinued merchandise.

Donations are accepted Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Making a donation to the ReStore not only benefits Habitat for Humanity Maui; it also diverts usable materials from the landfill.

Volunteers are welcome in the ReStore to help with customers, arrange merchandise and accept donations.
