According to Lahaina Restoration Foundation, this project provided a much-needed improvement to this popular park in the heart of the Lahaina Historic Districts.

LAHAINA – The Marriott’s Maui Ocean Club’s grounds crew, under the leadership of Grounds Manager Mike Segura, recently re-finished 17 wooden benches in Banyan Tree Park in Lahaina.

Shade from the 146-year-old tree covers two-thirds of the one-acre park and provides a welcome respite from the hot Lahaina sun.

The wooden benches are a favorite of visitors and residents alike.

Lahaina Restoration Foundation maintains Banyan Tree Park and appreciates the help and support of Marriott’s Maui Ocean Club in preserving and protecting the new wooden benches.
