Kevin Badon recently opened Badon’s Cleaning Services in West Maui

LAHAINA – Kevin Badon recently opened Badon’s Cleaning Services in West Maui. He is fully licensed and insured for large commercial and residential cleaning projects.

Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Badon worked for his parents’ business, ServiceMaster, that they founded in 1976.

He started helping his dad in high school by cleaning carpets, furniture and upholstery for the cleaning franchise. Eventually, he began working in disaster restoration and fire and water damage restoration.

After his dad retired 15 years ago, Badon stepped up and ran the company for 12 years.

Around August of 2016, Badon had a change of heart and decided disaster restoration work wasn’t for him anymore.

His father sold the company, and Badon decided to pursue what he enjoys most – “what I finally realized I was good at and got lots of satisfaction from: steam cleaning floors and upholstery.”

In January 2018, he opened Badon’s Cleaning Services in his hometown.

“I knew something was still missing: Maui. I vacationed here eight years ago and fell in love with it, and knew I would call it home one day. So I made that happen on Dec. 10, 2018, and I’m so grateful I did,” Badon explained.
